EPO Analysis

EPO WGA MAIIA Isoform Distribution Kit (Art.1310)

Easy-to-use isoform analysis tool for distinguishing between various endogenous and recombinant human erythropoietins and erythropoietin analogues affinity purified from urine, serum or plasma.

Using a rapid dip-stick procedure the total amount of EPO in the sample is measured, and also a certain proportion of EPO. This proportion will vary depending on how strongly the EPO isoforms contained in the sample interact with wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) lectin ligands on the dip-stick. Measuring the proportion makes it possible to spot differences in the EPO isoform pattern between samples. Differences in the EPO isoform pattern may occur between EPO produced in different cell types, such as liver or kidney cells, between normal cells and tumor cells, or between human cells and cells from other species, such as many recombinant EPO variants. Differences in the isoform pattern of proteins may affect their biological function.

EPO Semi Quantification Kit (Art.1450)

EPO concentration in biological fluids is highly variable. The EPO Semi Quantification kit is designed to detect sample to sample variability by measuring the total EPO concentration in each EDTA-Plasma, serum or buffered sample.

EPO Semi Quantification Kit is a lateral flow immunoassay using dip-stick for the total EPO amount quantification. The procedure takes 30 minutes and 50-100 samples can be run simultaneously. This allows for multianalysis of samples e.g. SAR PAGE to be performed in a more efficient and uniform level. The kit contains all reagents you need sufficient for 100 tests.
